Stalker 2 Owes 2021 Release Date, a New Website

Stalker 2 Gets 2021 Release Date, a New Website

Critically acclaimed first-person survival horror series Stalker might finally be getting another game in the series.

Ukranian developer GSC Game World has made a statement about Stalker 2 having a targeted release date of 2021. Stalker 2 was declared back in 2010, with an expected release date of 2012. Stalker 2 encountered a series of problems and it was presumed abandoned until now. GSC Game World has set up a site which doesn’t have much more than a wallpaper and contact details.

You may check out the Stalker 2 site and see for yourself just how little there is to learn more about the game as of this moment. There is a tweet on the official Stalker 2 accounts that mentions a launch date of 2021. It is unclear whether Stalker 2 development has started. The Stalker 2 site lists three email IDs for advice, tasks, and media inquiries about the game. There is not any word on which platforms Stalker 2 will release on, although the first 3 games were only on PC so we could perhaps assume that a PC launch is about the cards.

The Stalker series is set in an alternate reality where there has been a second nuclear disaster in Chernobyl. The match featured mutant animals, plants, as well as humanoids in the Stalker series, that has been commended for producing the Zone — the website affected by radioactivity which harbours all these mutants.
