LG’s Forthcoming flagship, the LG G8 ThinQ has been leaked in the form of renders multiple times in the past and a Number of its key specifications have surfaced too.
Now, a fresh set of high quality pictures have made their way online that provide us a clear look at the LG G8 ThinQ’s design from all angles. The leaked photos seemingly confirm some previous rumours regarding the forthcoming high-end smartphone such as a dual back camera set up, a committed Google Assistant button as well as a broad notch.
The fresh LG G8 ThinQ leak comes courtesy of Evan Blass (aka @evleaks), who has a fairly solid reputation when it comes to smartphone escapes. The prolific tipster tweeted that the pictures of the upcoming smartphone and captioned it”LG G8 ThinQ”, eliminating any doubts regarding the identity of the smartphone. But, there’s no reference of any hardware specification or features related to LG’s upcoming offering. The images reveal the LG G8 ThinQ sporting a black paintjob with what seems like a metallic framework running round the borders.
The recently leaked LG G8 ThinQ images are almost equal to a different pair of photos that showcased the smartphone flaunting a grey finish but the exact same construct down to the placement of the camera module, buttons along with the fingerprint sensors. Moreover, alleged renders of the system which were leaked last month demonstrated a similar layout but with a glistening blue surface finish and also indicated the LG smartphone will retain the 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of the hardware under the hood, the South Korean company has formally confirmed the LG G8 ThinQ will feature a ToF (Time-of-Flight) technology-backed front camera for more accurate 3D facial recognition and better depth estimation for bokeh consequences. As per another leak, the LG flagship will allegedly come equipped with a 3,400mAh battery, but there isn’t any word on service for rapid charging. In Terms of the launching, LG is expected to unveil the LG G8 ThinQ alongside the LG V50 ThinQ 5G with an event scheduled for February 24, 2019 in Barcelona before MWC 2019.
