IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said here on Tuesday the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Site was hacked to Get a few minutes last weekas the Website Stayed has under the”maintenance” mode for more than a week now.
The website was hacked only for a couple of minutes. We got back management quite soon,” Prasad stated from the first-ever admission in the authorities about the BJP site being hacked, at the”Digital India Summit” here.
The minister, however, did not say when the website is anticipated to be back.
The message on the BJP website still reads:”We will be back shortly! Sorry for the hassle but we’re performing some maintenance right now. We will be back online soon!”
The BJP IT cell head Amit Malviya last week stated the site wasn’t hacked.
While admitting that the website had undergone some sort of”transgression”, Malviya reported the site was down because of some”technical glitch”, perhaps not hacking.
