Apple Files Patent for Wireless Charging System With Unique Power SchedulingApple has filed a patent application with the US Patent and Trademark Office Which will reportedly Allow the user Setup wireless charging transfers in a particular Sequence so that their iPhone gets power first, followed by Apple Watch after Which the iPad.

The Radio Frequency (RF) based long-time wireless charging is on the lines of wireless power programmer Energous that has been recently granted customer security certification for its wireless charging technologies by the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

“The US Patent and Trademark Office released a pair of patent applications from Apple that relates to radio power transfers and a unique scheduling system,” Patently Apple reported Friday.

“Apple’s patent notes that the machine is ‘configured to wirelessly transmit electricity over the wireless power transfer link’,” the report added.

However, it’s uncertain if this is the equivalent to “over-the-air” wireless transfer.
