Airtel appears to have begun offering 1GB high-speed statistics in addition to incoming and outgoing calls on a free regular trial to its prepaid users that have not recharged their balances. The newest development is a follow up to a previous upgrade as part of the New Delhi-based telco has been supplying 1GB high-speed statistics allocation to consumers on recharge of low-value prepaid programs, including the Rs. 48 and Rs. 49 packs. Airtel’s most up-to-date effort of supplying free advantages on a trial basis — together with its own preceding movement — could help keep its clients and provide a hard fight to Reliance Jio.

Among those users that allegedly obtained the free voice and data calling advantages from the operator did not recharge the accounts for more than a month. But, there’s not any clarity on the standards for selecting users to its added benefits. It’s also not clear whether Airtel is offering the free trial in select classes or onto a pan-India basis.
