Poco X2 Starts Obtaining MIUI 12 Global Stable ROM Update in India, Users Report

Poco X2 users are now receiving the MIUI 12 upgrade in India, according to reports. Users are discussing screenshots of receiving the update on their apparatus on Twitter. Xiaomi recently announced the Poco F2 Pro and Pocophone F1 international units will also receive their MIUI 12 updates starting this month. On the other hand, the Poco X2 is the first device to acquire the new MIUI 12 update that was announced in May.

Twitter users are sharing screenshots of receiving the MIUI 12 upgrade in their Poco X2 mobiles. The build number of this newest upgrade is MIUI QGHINXM and its dimensions is recorded to be 813MB. Based on interactions on Twitter, it would appear that only several Poco X2 users have received the upgrade .It may be potential that Poco is conducting a boil evaluation to make sure no critical bugs are there from the steady upgrade before rolling it out into a mass audience. We’ve contacted the company regarding the essence of the upgrade and will upgrade this copy when we hear back.

The changelog seen from the screenshots indicates the MIUI 12 upgrade brings new system animations, new cleaner and simpler visual design, and enhancements to the floating windows feature. The changelog notes MIUI 12 is the first Android-based mobile OS that moved through the rigorous improved privacy protection testing. It brings along a new Control Center design too.

Poco X2 consumers are recommended to download the upgrade when they get it. If you haven’t already got a notification, check for the upgrade manually in Settings to see whether you’ve received it or not. To remember, the Poco X2 was found in India with MIUI 11 running out-of-the-box. The device is currently currently priced starting at Rs. 17,499 at India. The apparatus has seen multiple cost hikes since launch due to the GST rate hike and the COVID-19 crisis.
