OnePlus Nord has started receiving its Original software update.
The brand new update comes only after the official launching of the new OnePlus phone which can go on sale in India starting August 4. It does not bring any interface-level adjustments to the OnePlus Nord, although the update does contain various camera optimisations to provide much better photography and video recording experiences. The OnePlus Nord update also improves system stability and optimises video calling performance. OnePlus has rolled out the upgrade to the inspection units of this OnePlus Nord. But, it is very likely to come preloaded on its retail version or may surface as the first software upgrade.
The latest upgrade brings OxygenOS 10.5.1 to the OnePlus Nord. It carries optimized video calling functionality as well as improves the back camera functionality by optimising the depth sensor effect and indoor picture quality. There is also enhanced power efficiency for video recording at 4K 60fps. Furthermore, the update improves the overall camera experience and system equilibrium on the OnePlus Nord.
OnePlus is rolling out the program upgrade with variant OxygenOS 10.5.1. AC01DA. Furthermore, it comes in 103MB of dimensions.
To recall, the OnePlus Nord was launched on Tuesday in three different configurations, with up to 12GB RAM along with 256GB storage choices. The phone carries a starting price of Rs. 24,999 in India and has Blue Marble and Gray Onyx as the color choices.

The dual-SIM (Nano) OnePlus Nord runs on Android 10 using OxygenOS 10.5 on top and contains a 6.44-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Fluid AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh speed. In addition, it has up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 storage which isn’t expandable via microSD card. In terms of optics, there’s a quad back camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor alongside an f/1.75 lens. The camera setup also has an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle shot, 2-megapixel sensor using a macro lens, along with a 5-megapixel depth shooter. For selfies, there is a double sided selfie camera setup at the front that includes a 32-megapixel Sony IMX616 primary sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary detector having an ultra-wide-angle lens.
Connectivity options on the OnePlus Nord comprise 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS/ / NavIC, NFC, plus a USB Type-C port. The phone also comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Besides, it packs a 4,115mAh battery that supports Warp Charge 30T quick charging.
