Amazon India has announced the Prime Day 2020 Program through a microsite.
This year’s yearly sale occasion by the US e-commerce giant will occur from August 6 to August 7. It will be the first time when Amazon will sponsor its Prime Day sale in August – in place of a normal July schedule. The delay is supposedly as a result of coronavirus pandemic that radically impacted e-commerce company worldwide. Notably, this is going to be the fourth largest Prime Day sale in India and is touted to attract a number of excellent bargains and new releases.
To give a context, Prime Day is a yearly sale event that is exclusively aimed at Amazon’s Prime readers around the world. The company generally reveals its key deals together with announcing the event. But this time, it’s mentioned on the Prime Day 2020 microsite that some of the major offers will be revealed beginning July 23.
Meanwhile, the Amazon has stated that beginning 12am (midnight) on August 6, there will be greatest prices across smartphones, consumer electronics, appliances, TVs, kitchen, daily essentials, toys, fashion, beauty, and other categories. Further, there will be over 300 new product launches from brands including Samsung, Jabra, Titan, JBL, OnePlus, Microsoft Xbox, and Xiaomi, among others. Customers will also get rewards of over Rs. 2,000 on regular essential obligations and purchasing through Amazon Pay.
To place the pitch to the sale occasion, Amazon will offer Prime members together with the option to avail 20 per cent cashback up to Rs. 200 on the Prime Day sale for making a purchase between July 23 midnight and until August 5 from products provided by various small and medium businesses (SMBs). There’ll also be complimentary in-game content together with new content launch across popular mobile games listed for Prime members.
You may expect interesting deals on several smartphones, notebooks, and other gadgets throughout the Prime Day sale. There will also be a 10 percent instant discount for HDFC customers across different products. Furthermore, the two-day sale event will supply a listing of no-cost EMI choices and exchange offers.
Alongside several product prices, Amazon brings new film releases throughout its Prime Day selling event to entertain Prime readers through the Amazon Prime Video support. Amazon will also offer star curated audio playlists on Prime Music.
Prime Day normally takes place concurrently in India and the US markets. But, Amazon is now yet to announce its schedule for its US clients.
