Redmi 9A, the toned-down Variant of Redmi 9 and Also the successor to the Redmi 8A, Will Probably debut next month, an alleged Xiaomi Catalog intended for the Philippines market has Shown.

The catalog highlights the smartphone’s key specifications like MediaTek Helio G25 SoC and quad rear camera installation. Comparable to this Redmi 9, the Redmi 9A will also sport a 6.53-inch display, the Xiaomi catalogue adds. It’s unclear whether the phone will arrive at the Indian market as well – though it is probably considering its successors were launched in the country.

The alleged Xiaomi catalogue for the Philippines market was spotted by the online book , GizGuide. The catalog reveals that the Redmi 9A would feature a 6.53-inch HD+ screen with a 5-megapixel front camera positioned inside the waterdrop-notch. The phone is listed to carry an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 SoC. Moreover, the quad back camera setup is said to include a 13-megapixel main camera. Last, the catalogue claims that the Redmi 9A has a 5,000mAh battery.

In the same way, the Redmi 9A has been part of many leaks before where it had been suggested the phone will come with a single-band, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connectivity along with 4G support. Rumours indicate that the phone could come with a height of 164.85mm and a width of 77.07mm. A separate report adds that the Redmi 9A will support 10W fast charging. Lastly, it is theorized that the phone will come with 3GB of RAM.

The alleged Xiaomi catalog doesn’t tip the pricing of the smartphone. Xiaomi had first unveiled the Redmi 9 before this month. The phone has a 3GB + 32GB storage option in Europe for EUR 149 (approximately Rs. 12,800). The phone recently made its introduction from China in two new versions. Notably, the Redmi 9 is supposed to launch in India under the Poco brand, according to a report.
